The Benefits to Lists, Infographics, and Links in Blogging

Updated: Nov 17, 2023

Blogging has very quickly become the easiest, most cost effective, and most popular way to market yourself or your business. But with so many bloggers out there how can you compete? Well, first of all, you’re not exactly in competition with anybody else when blogging. In fact, you should be feeding off other bloggers in your field to help lend credibility to your own blog. Secondly, you should be more focused on building your blog viewership than outdoing your “competition”.

When blogging, one of the most important things is consistency. Even if you can’t write a full article yourself each and every time you post you will want to be consistent in regards to when you post or how often you post so your viewers do not become irritated or stop viewing your blog. One of the easiest ways to help encourage yourself to remain consistent is to not focus strictly on just writing new material but to also be able to provide another outlet for new material.

One of the best ways to provide new material and continue building your relevancy and viewership in search engines is by posting lists, infographics, and relevant links in blogs. There are many different benefits to each of these options.

Infographics

Provide a topic, yet you can add some personal insights without having to spend the amount of time you would on writing a full article for your blog.

Lists

You can provide a relevant list for your chosen topic that will increase your credibility by providing links in blogs to additional resources/vendors that offer goods and services you do not.

Links

This can really help you build an online reputation. Connecting to blogs of those who are the best in your field or have a good reputation will boost your own credibility and drive traffic to their website; thus encouraging them to do the same. You give them an opportunity to endorse you by linking back to your website which can be even more beneficial.

Remember, even if you are short on time blogging can help boost web presence and credibility without the headache of having to worry about what article to put out when. Just pick a topic and use the information and web presence of those with a stellar reputation.
